Would it be possible to implement party mode playlist into the remote like the ios version?

I've been working on the Frodo support, and would love to start working on implementing this. My wife and I use XBMC primarily for Music, rather than video. Any ideas on how to get better support for cool features like xsp playlists for the music sidef?

Bribe Montellese I guess. Anyway I'll start working on this as soon as we have a working "legacy" version again.
Running XBMC on my HTPC, tablet, phone and pinball machine.
Always read the XBMC online-manual, FAQ and search the forums before posting. Do NOT e-mail Team-XBMC members asking for support. For troubleshooting and bug reporting, make sure you read this first.

New design work looks really cool and brings the remote right up to date for a modern Android device Smile

I am sure you probably have seen some of these but thought I would share some great Android UI resources/inspiration.

These are some great videos by Google on app redesign and show how to really maximise the use of the holo theme and new design guidelines for Android

Sorry to be the one that is negative here. But the remote section looks like a space station, doesn't like it at all. Need a more grownup look.

I agree. Dont get me wrong when I opened this up I was super pumped. I just think if you dropped the glows around the buttons and sharpened the lines more you would be right back into the new Jelly Bean design. Not trying to beat you up, totally loving what I am seeing.

I think an 'Eject DVD' button would be a great addition... a working one Smile

(Hey, I know you are focusing on the look and feel here - but leave room for the feature!)

Loving this, awesome work!

The official app is nice, but it's styled as HTC's Sense. That's nice i you have a Sense phone, but it's weird if you run stock Android. Having it streamlined with the UI would be great. It's a shame PVR EPG data isn't available through the JSON interface, but I think that should be easily fixed with a third party tool Smile If you're willing to implement it, I think there are lots of people (me included) who wouldn't mind getting their hands dirty to fix up a tool to provide EPG access. As far as I know this data is stored as SQLite in epg.db in the user folder. Wouldn't be that hard to mock up a JSON interface for that.

Very much looking forward to seeing the first versions with the new interface come out - has been a impatient 4 months Smile
