Mouse behaves erratic on toshiba laptop
#1
Hi,

I Installed XBMCbuntu (http://xbmc.org/download/) on an (very) old Dell laptop, and everything works oke with a stutter here and there.

So I installed it on a toshiba laptop with more horsepower. Everything is OK but ... the mouse is uncontrollable in XBMC.
Disappears and moves very erratic.

If I go to Ubuntu, all is well and the mouse behaves very nice.

If I go back to XBMC the problem is there again. I tried a usb mouse, with the same result.
I tried XBMC ubuntu on my main PC, and there the mouse behaved very well.

The toshiba laptop has dual intel cpu. (was a vista machine)
I intend to use this laptop as my media server.

Any Ideas ??

THX in advance !!

Yes dont use a mouse in xbmc.

XBMC has own internal way of handling mouse and I suspect its never been great as never heard/read any good things about mice+xbmc.

You could try to reconfigure your xorg.conf - though if that helps idk as I dont use mice, except on my Desktop machine.
