[Rastasense]

Hi,

I'm running XBMC on a jailbroken Apple TV 2 (OS5), and I have a Mac Mini (Mountain Lion) and a recently purchased WD My Book Live ("MBL").

I have been able to find and add my video folders on the WD MBL to my ATV2 XBMC (through Windows SMB), but unfortunately, they just stay there as files, with no scraping of metadata. I have tried refreshing the library, I have ensured that XBMC is set to pull data from MovieDB and IMDB, and I have renamed both my movie and tv show files in MBL as recommended on this forum, but with no luck.

Does anyone have any suggestions or any ideas on how I can finally put the last touch on my new media center?

I'm a total Newb when it comes to this, so any help is greatly appreciated.

You have to set the content type of the video source on ATV2 (e.x. Movies, TV-Shows). The scraper should take care of the rest then.
