Hi,
i written a simple software for my home domotic that bind some keys to perform some actions (turn light on or off, etc). This software runs in background and i can use my remote control to send commands. The problem with XMBC is that when i'm on XMBC those keys don't work. I have to go on the desktop and then on XMBC again.
There is a way to avoid this ?

P.s. It doesn't work either with catalist shortcut that need to switch beetwen TV and Videoprojector on the fly

Which keys are you using for the remote control? Probably xbmc is also using the same shortcuts.
