Hi guys! I am very new to XBMC and the Cinema Experience addon. I'm having some serious issues here. I got the script working, but when I choose the film and start the Cinema Experience thing, it would not start the slides. Instead, it would give me the playback error thing where it says that it could play the files. Now it would play the trailers and intro video okay, but it would not display the video. But at least the sound works. Can anyone help me with this? I totally appreciate it! Smile

I am using XBMC version 11.0 as well as version 2.0.57 of the Cinema Experience addon and the Transparency skin in case if anybody asks. Tongue

EDIT: The Apple Movie Trailers are playing but without video and with sound just like my other intro videos. Its just my trivia slides that are not playing. Very frustrating when you can't get something awesome to work right Sad

EDIT 2: Got the trivia slides working. I was too stupid to leave my folder empty.xDDD The intro videos and the movie trailers are still sound only.-_-

It's always frustrating when you have issues like this, but you really need to post at least a debug log file for people to be motivated to help you. I would also be a bit more descriptive of your problem ("playback error thing"?).

That log has nothing to do with Cinema Experience. Also, please post in the Cinema Experience thread -> http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=87563

That's because I did something outside of Cinema Experience. I realized it already and plus, I got the slides part working. I left the slides folder empty.xD Now I gotta get the other videos like the trailers and the intro things to show up with ACTUAL video. Not just the sound.

First, test the videos in XBMC to make sure they play(you can use the File Manager to do this - move right on the Settings tab brings up a sub menu with File Manager) As XBMC plays the videos not the script

Second, please post in the Cinema Experience Thread -> http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=87563 It allows me and others to keep track of things.

Okay I'll try that giftie. I'll let you know of the results on that thread you suggested I post at.
