just a little idea.i'm sick on a freezing xbmc when playing unsuported media. usaly the freeze comes on try number two.
first media played just don't play , and you try another media and get the freeze.
so what about a little script that reads off the the xbmc logg and if it reads that mplayer has an error and it can't unload it's resources, we display a little error message, and precent a dialogbox that allows a reset of the dashboard?
it should be quite easy to accomplish, but i'm just too lasy in these times :p
