Hi.
The bottom of the subtitle font cut off due to changes on nov.07.

Its not just windows, this happens in Linux too using up-to-date GIT.

You can update the topic description and report as bug

Its very noticeable on the letters g y p q like you say the bottoms are cut off.

I need a fast, foolproof way of reproducing. i.e. a subtitle file where the first subtitle in the file shows this behaviour.

this is what i see:

note how the font shadow gets cropped at the bottom.

i only see this in fullscreen, not in windowed mode.

Something is changed with commit 0a56235. Now the font seems ok, only the outline cut off. (bottom of the "g")

Note: you must increase the fontsize above 28 to reproduce...

Hi! I have a similar issue, but the shadow is cut on the left. OS is Ubuntu Oneiric. It's especially evident with letters T, W, A. I have the latest version from team-xbmc/unstable ppa; it's labeled as "2:12.0~git20130128.1315-frodo-0oneiric". Minimal file:
