Ok I am not sure how to describe this but only by posting a pic.
the machine I am running on isn't new but should run it ok. it has a fresh install of win7 ultimate, 2 gig ram 32mb video which seems small but not sure if windows is actually telling me this correctly, works better playing larger videos then the old ati radeon 128mb card I had in her, the rest is stock and boring.

the lines in the back are ment to be the stock skin that comes with the current xbmc 11.0 install
please any help would be greatly appreciated.

seems like a definite graphic driver problem. what specifically is your graphic card, and have you tried to update the drivers for it? post a debug log so the devs can have a look.

the mother board is a Gigabyte GA-8S661FXM-775, graphics SiS 661FX, Memory Size 32 MB, and it reckons it handles up to open GL 1.4,
I think i will go have another look at the driver and see if I can get an updated one...
how do I get the debug log?
