Hi,

I want to request a new feature for one of the future version of xbmc-pvr.
I want to have an option, when pressing record on a live tv channel, to have the ability that it will search and record every following episode of this tv series.

this feature exist today on some satellite companies, and it is done by analyses the EPG name of every tv series. if the name is similar, it is marked as record automatically.

The ForTheRecord Backend has this feature, but not vie the Xbmc UI yet.

This has been requested countless times, don't forget the search button :-)

Would be a great feature though. One step at a time.

Hi, thanks for reply.
I know tvheadend has a similar feature too but not via xbmc. (I am using Linux so I can't use fortherecord).
