Resume dialog
#1

Hello,

I have upgraded to XBMC 12 Beta1, and now when I play a video that has the Resume icon, it won't resume or show a dialog, like before. I can resume it opening the options window, but it's a bit dangerous, because if you forget to do it and press play, you loose your resume point.

Any idea how to re-enable the dialog?

Check your default select action (settings->video)
Always read the XBMC online-manual, FAQ and search the forum before posting.
Do not e-mail XBMC-Team members directly asking for support. Read/follow the forum rules.

I had it set to "show info", but it played straight, without showing anything. Now I am testing it in other PC, and it works well. Even if I set it to "play" it askes me. I will check it again at home. Maybe the problem was that I was not "online" at that moment, and then the "show info" was not working correctly.

I'll check it...

How far into the video did you get? You have to go through a certain time/% of the video for it to come up with the resume dialog. That can be changed in Advanced Settings with

Code:
<video>
  <ignoresecondsatstart>15</ignoresecondsatstart>
</video>
Set Up
Raspberry Pi running Raspbmc - XBMC 12.2
40" Samsung ES6800 LED Smart 3D 1080P TV
Onkyo HTS3405 5.1 DD True HD and DTS-HD Surround Sound
ReadyNAS Duo with 4TB (2 x 2TB X-RAID) Western Digital Caviar Green using NFS
