Hello.
I have a question about the timeshift folder/file. Is there any way that i can access it and play the file from an xbmc client outside my lan?
So fas i have tested a http and ftp solution. With http xbmc won't even show any files in the directory, works fine with a browser. With ftp i can access the folder and play the file. But the problem is that the file is growing (live tv) and xbmc seems not to handle that very well. It plays for a few seconds (if the timeshift file is new) then stops. Sometimes i can see that xbmc adjusts the endtime for the file, like it should be doing, but most times it's not doing it and the playback will abort.
Also, with the ftp solution I can play the file with vlc without problem. And the http one too, if i specify the filename.
Any toughts or ideas?
