I keep getting stuttering, pixelated issues on 1080 mkv movies only ... 720 seem to play fine. The audio seems to play fine too it's just the video. Ive followed a few recommendations on here from bluray but don't know if I've tried the right combination. I have also checked to make sure all my drivers are up to date except for 1 I can't find a intel management driver for mine, not even sure if it needs one. My specs are as follows

Windows 7 64bit
6gb ddr2
Intel core 2 duo e6850 3ghz
Nvidia 9800gt

Please let me know if theres anything else you might need to diagnose

Please provide more info on your xbmc video playback settings: eg did you enable hardware decoding, did you enable dxva2 etc. And don't forget the debug log.

Ok so under settings/video/playback I have everything disabled

Render method - auto

Under settings/system/video output

Display mode - full screen1
Use full screen window - unchecked
Vertical sync - always enabled

Omg I got it I had to turn off dxva2 but no one ever said you have to close xbmc for settings to take effect. So after restarting xbmc everything works fine. They may want to put a message stating that you have to restart xbmc for settings to take effect
