Hi everybody,

For a few months I have been running Openelec on a Raspberry Pi.......before you jump on me telling me that Openelec have their own forum, let me finish. I also installed XBMC on my PC to experiment before any major screw-ups on the Openelec as it is much easier to fix PC installation.

Let me explain : I am completely paralyzed due to a stroke and I can easily use a PC but not the Raspberry. To use a mouse, I have a head-tracker (http://www.naturalpoint.com/smartnav/) and a dwell-clicker (http://www.polital.com/pnc/) so anything I do on Raspberry is via it's web interface, while experiments are done on the PC version (which I can fix - "when" not "if" I screw up), which brings me to my problem. Normally, Point N' Click (PNC) sits "on top" of anything else i.e. it is always visible. Not so with XBMC making it's use almost impossible as XBMC becomes the application with the highest "layer".

I hope I explained my problem clearly and I can take screenshots to further explain the problem.

Thanks
Manuel

I can't address OpenELEC since it's kind of a closed environment, but for your XBMC PC installation, can you run XBMC in a maximized window (i.e., the Windows title and task bars are still visible) and see if your PNC utility is accessible and can be used to navigate XBMC? From fullscreen XBMC, hit the backslash ( \ ) key to windowize XBMC, then click the Maximize button on the title bar of the XBMC application window.

Thanks artafel, it works!

I changed the shortcut properties of XBMC to start "maximised" and it starts without covering PNC.

Thanks again...simple solution!
