[Samba] Buffering issues Frodo Beta 1
#1
Just got Frodo Beta 1 installed.

Sharing everything via my Win 7 desktop. No problem in ading folder and the scan was done very fast.

But when I am playing any video from 720p and up I get buffering issues. The larger file, the more buffering so it has to be capacity related.

Got it connected via Wire, not wireless and the router is top notch. Same files via the same share works on Boxee Box.

AMD X2 250 and Geforce GT430.

- Any clues?
- Any commandlines i can write to increase buffer or something?

I don't have any problems. I have samba shares on my usb disks connected to my windows 7 PC (old pentium4 still need to switch that machine to linux Smile ) and play 3D 1080p files with no problem on my asrock 3D ION 152D with xbmcbuntu frodo beta 1.

BTW wired connection and the windows PC has only a 100 mbit port. The rest is gigabit. Only the initial startup before the file start playing can take some time, however the usb disks goto standby and take some time to power on. So that is expected.
