I cannot seem to get the Parental Controls to work. I have it installed and it is configured, It is not working as expected. Version of Parental Controls is 1.5.3. XBMC version 11.0.

Can you be more specific? What were you expecting it to do, and what did it do instead? Keep in mind, it will not provide any protection for video on network shares, just video plugins.

I have a the same problem, but maybe this is not how the addon works... I wanted to be able to block my Library movies by its rating. So I installed XBMC 12.2 May 2 2013 and Parental controls 1.5.3 via zip file.
I set TV/Movies to PG and below, exited xbmc restarted it, could still open M, R rated movies etc.
I couldnt find anywhere where it explicitly says it works on library entries though, clearly it works for plugins.
Is that a problem or a feature request?
