Hello!
im having problems streaming videos with my NAS over internet...
I have two type of videos:
When i play both files in LAN they run flawesly but when i try to play them over internet with XBMC i have this issues:
TV shos downloaded directly in MP4 H.264 format runs perfect over internet.
The film does not run, i get error... ok i have done some conversions thinking: if MP4 runs but avi not (my synology DS212j does not transcode) im gonna convert the film to MP4 with same setup:
In each film i have in AVI HDRip format i have done:
First i used adobe media encoder using the ipad profile (not runs) (MP4 H.264)
Second i used xilisoft and wondershare converters and i tryed every mp4 profile (not runs)
Third i setup my own profile copying the TV show profile ( i see TV show has 25 fps and last profiles i used before were 23,9 fps) with 25 fps, 16:9, 1200 kbps bitrate, AAC mp3 48000 Hz and 128 Kbps bitrate but not runs...
If i use the synology video program both run perfect... but with XMBC in LAN both types play perfect but over internet (with ftp connection) only play TV show but not converted films.
Im connecting to NAS by ftp
I do not why i can not play the film
First i paste log in LAN with TV Show and FILM converted in MP4 using SMB
