I'm not going to go on a rant, but to just say that
a) I made a valid observation of the forum lacking in support for new users (I am not the only one to have said it, others have, on here and on other sites)
b) I never felt entitled for help (its a community support forum is it not?), I asked for assistance, guidance, not a full xyz roadmap. (if you note, I narrowed the problem down myself and as such, someone with for knowledge instantly recognised the issue). I apologise for not including more details, I'm new, but I included majority of the information required to resolve.
c) its OK for someone (who is senior on this forum) to be rude and condescending towards me (after being critical), but not for me to respond in similar vain?
Anyway, I shall leave it as that, but to end by THANKING those who did help.
