Hello,

I've searched Google and here but couldn't find my answer.

I'm running Win 7, XBMC Frodo, with a TV Tuner in the computer.

- I have installed XBMC Frodo on Windows especially for PVR feature (to replace Win7MCE).
- I have then installed Argus PVR add-on (and also tried with MythTv).
- Once add-on enabled I go to Settings > LiveTV, enable live TV.

But then, when I hit "Channel Manager" nothing shows up.
No freeze or whatsoever. Just nothing, I can switch to other panels. It's just like this option was dummy.

Any idea of what I missed in the setup process ?

If you go back into the home screen and then select "Live TV" does anything work there?

Hello,

No, if I get there it says that no channel has been setup yet. Which is why I came back to settings and channel manager.

Now when I started XMBC again after it said that "PVR add-on could not connect to..." (don't know what has the message box is too short).
My internet connection is working perfectly well, my TV Tuner still works fine if I start Win7 MC.

I assume then that there is something wrong with PVR connection to [insert something here].
Same thing with Argus and MythTV.

What is the AddOn trying to connect to actually ?

Actually as stated on my first post I did installed the addon, enabled it, enabled live TV.

Do you mean I need ANOTHER third party program besides XBMC+PVR AddOn ?

yes.

XBMC + add-on is a frontend, you need a backend also.
