I am pretty new to xbmc so i apologize if this is rookie stuff here. when i play a movie from my hard drive, it skips forward by about 10 minutes at a time until it reaches the end, and there is no sound. the movie is m4v format (from itunes) and i am running xbmc 11.0 on windows 8 release preview. any ideas as to how to solve this? thanks a lot

Check the Debug Log - it may be that a button is held down or some such.

here is the link for the debug log. I am not very proficient in code but it seems to be a similar error repeating... This isn't the entire log because the initial size was ridiculous thanks again for the help
