Win Stutter video playback problem

@Skank-
You have to remember that Frodo is Beta. XBMC put it out there to test the water. They'll make sure that everything is right before they release it as stable version to replace the latest stable Eden......give them sometime to smooth things out.....

You can enjoy Eden for now......
>Alienware X51- do it all HTPC
>Simplify XBMC configurations
>HOW-TO Bitstreaming using XBMC
I refused to watch movie without bitstreaming HD audio!

Argh!
Just tried another bluray..cars 2 , now this one said buffering in th beginning and now every 10 min (guess) it is buffering..'Sad
Its beginning to work on my nerves... Hate it!
You need a log for this?
All was running fine with unraid and xbmc eden. But recently i changed 2 things, which i shouldnt have done cause now im experiencing buffering and stuttering problems
I installed mysql on unraid for xbmc database
My unraid machine is 2x2gb ram, asus m4a78lt-m and athlon x2 240e
Xbmc was running everything in 1080p will full hd audio without any hickup
But i changed that to xbmc frodo rc1 ..
And now having with almost every movie buffering issues
I know frodo is beta, or rc.. And itt contains still bugs but still , it should be already pretty stable

What i was wondering about is that could it be, that all my problems are cause of the mysql server running on unraid?
Cause i read in. Some thread here i should use swap file? Could this mysql cause all things?
Imalso. Running squeezebox server, airvideo, sabnzb, sickbeard, simple features and dropbox

It's not Unraid or mysql...having same issues since I moved from Eden! So far I can tell all files play terrible and they both play from a ZFS pool as from Unraid!
So it's clearly the RC build Frodo that's causing it!

However there is a workaround. Just run XBMC in compability mode (XP service pack 3) and vid plays smooth.

BTW is this only an AMD related problem. I'm using Catalyst 12.11 beta 11.

Thanks Jeggu. The compatibility mode workaround was successful for me.

Im thinking that it is a driver issue for me..
Imgonna try the compability mode or even rolling back driver

Well how do you do that?
If i select to runin compability mode, i have no dxva2 support...
And in audio settings, it says error passthrough audiodevice

So this mode is ano go

Ive looked at my drivers and it seems im running catalyst 12.10
Yu have problems with 12.11 beta 11 too?
Might it be a good idea to revert back to 12.09
Ive read that there are issues sinces 12.10

I have these problems only when i put audio from Analog to Wasapi or HMDI. I am using an Zotac Zbox with Realtek HD Audio. Zbox is connected through HDMI on my Sony TV.

Analog: Menu give sound, movies give sound (not digital)
HMDI: Menu give sound, movies are chobby and no sound
Wasapi: Menu give no sound, movies are chobby and no sound.

Dont use realtek and read wiki first Wink
So i have different issues

Mines are
- some concerts in bd format are stuttering
- some movies give announcement "buffering"
- some mkvs play fine until some random points where audio continues, video stops the.fastforward to where video is (although i didnt see this back in rc1)
- some dvds stutter
- bd iso stutter!

All plays fine in mpc-hc and powerdvd

@Skank:

For HDMI my system use Intel R display audio driver. I cant update that one to AMD High Definition Audio drivers. The other one (the rear spdif output and green/red output are realtek)i can update for AMD audio drivers.. I readed the wiki, but it doesnt work for me.

So far i know all audio ports on my ID82 are HD.

My Zbox is connected through HDMI on my TV.
