xbmcbuntu beta3
#1
Hi,

I just wanted to quickly check something. I use an AMD llnao in my system and been running xbmcbuntu.. Basically my question is.. If I install the latest xbmcbuntu frodo beta3 and iso should I need to do anything eles?

For example reading this post from Balthazar he states "What brand of processor do you have? I had similar issues with my AMD processor until I switched to the XVBA branch. No laggy RSS and video is butter smooth." Is this something I should do or is this actually setup as part of teh and xbmcbuntu build?

Thanks and sorry for what seems like such a basic question.. Things seem to move fast in here and what seemed right a few months ago ( relating to the XVBA ) etc might not be needed now so just checking.

yes, this is something you should definitely do.
xbmcbuntu comes with stock xbmc, no xvba support yet
