Bug Frodo Webdav broken?
#61
For me WebDAV started to work when I updated OpenELEC to 3.0.

It also works on my iPad. It does not work on Android thought.

This, to me, indicates that it's a problem with Frodo 3.0 but I believe that it is fixed on 3.1.

Anyone noticed similar behaviour?

EDIT: By the way, I'm not using the secure port. Only HTTP not HTTPS (if it makes any sense).

And I did just update my android version to 3.1. Suddenly webdav started working on the device.

Remember that I do have the setting-change on my Synology-webdav-service that was explained earlier in this thread.

Running WebDAV via MediaMaster Server on OSX Snow Leopard streaming to Apple TV 2 on 4.x.x

I can confirm that WebDAV (under the environment/setup above) is still broken in Frodo 12.1, roll back to Eden and it's fine. Tried both secure and non-secure methods with MediaMaster Server, didn't work.

Despite this, I've decided to stay with Frodo 12.1 and stream via NFS through Zeroconf. The streaming performance so far seems as good, if not better than WebDAV anyway.

Yes, I tested with 3.1,too, but no luck secure or unsecure. Too bad.

- "curl http://USER:PASSWORD@SERVERURL/FOLDER"

and

- "curl --request "PROPFIND" http://USER:PASSWORD@SERVERURL/FOLDER"

?
After I enabled the directory listing/indexes as described by ybradycl_98258 I get,
1) Checks out fine - it shows all the directories on the server
2) PROPFIND requests with a Depth of "infinity" are not allowed for /files/TV/.

"solved" by enabling DavDepthInfinity by appending "DavDepthInfinity On" to /usr/syno/apache/conf/extra/httpd-default.conf-webdav

Seems like awful performance, though. (5 minutes for a full library scan)

Ok, didn't know about DavDepthInfinity.
Actually, I dropped WebDav, removed Apache and configured my Server 2012 Essentials to support NFS shares. That works great, actually. Will keep an eye on WebDav, though.
Thanks
