Linux sleep (resume) issues ubuntu 12.10 XBMC 12
#1
Hi,
I tried to google and search this forum, but I cannot find a solution. I'm having issues with XBMC resume from sleep.
At first, when I put my computer to sleep from system menu or terminal, it would not resume, hangs on black screen. Then I added quirk-radeon-off setting and now pm-suspend from terminal works (Computer resumes from sleep).
But, when I use XBMC suspend command, computer go to sleep, but would not resume, hangs with black screen.
Does XBMC use pm-suspend for sleeping or something else?
I must mention that I'm a new linux user, so please be patient :-)
OS is Ubuntu 12.10, using ATI Radeon and proprietary driver.

I'm having a similar issue, also with an Radeon. Strangely started happening after I switched from Component to HDMI.
