Frodo FC1 and Acer Aspire Revo (NVIDIA ION) Problems
#1
Has anyone been able to get the Frodo builds to work on an nvidia ION based system?

I have an Aspire Revo (1600 I believe... low end) which runs Eden fine but when I tried to use the Frodo RC1 build it has problems with bluray based content in that the audio is just a bunch of repeated clicks and the video slows to a crawling chop. I tried running bluray content that was either a ripped and clownbd .ts file or just the straight rip to a directory tree where both of these work fine with Eden.

What OS are you running?

With the new AudioEngine you may need to check your Audio Settings. ION1 systems can not do HD audio bitstreaming (ie. DTS-HD MA or Dolby TrueHD) so make sure they are disabled.

I had this with my 3700 after upgrading to beta 3. In the end I nuked the XBMC folder in C:\Users\<User\AppData\Roaming\ and everything was fine after that.

Bear in mind that if you do this you will lose everything within XBMC!

Vicbitter, that worked to disable the dts hd audio stuff... Sniff, now I think I'm missing out and need to find a new player ;-)

Do you know if the rasberrypi supports these audio types?

Unfortunately, the Raspberry Pi doesn't support these audio types either...
