this actually looks like an error with my real-time translation feature. For now, until I fix it, go into addon settings and disable the "enable translation" option. This feature uses google translate to translate the addon menu and option into any language that google supports. Did not look like anyone used it so I hadn't developed it any further

I did find one error when randomly testing. I was trying to open an episode and the script failed in getVidQuality. Apparently when it sent the request it got back data

which it couldn't handle.

But every other episode I tried from different series worked. So I checked in Viki web site via Firefox browser, and for that series "We Got Married Global Edition Season 2" it says "not available in your region". So I guess the data returned is correct and the plugin could check for this and handle it. But that's not a biggie since either way the result for the user is the same.

my solution to the "not available in your region" issue was my proxy feature in the addon settings, which allowed you to pick a different region to access the video from but looks like the proxy site I'm using must have changed. I'll have to look at fixing that feature as well.

Thanks for this wonderfull addon.
Is this addon compatible with Kodi 16 ?
The addon does not display subtitle in Kodi 16.
Can you please show me how to fix this sub problem ?

I got this addon installed.

I do have one request though. Can you please enable the addon to list Japanese drama? I can see other countries except Japan. I know Viki does not have as much content as others but really hard to browse through to find though.

Hello DKnight, I'm having an issue with the search function. Everything comes out blank. It just shows "page one, two three" and so on. But no content is displayed in the search. Please help. Thanks.

Me too i am having the same problem, only page 1 page 2 cames out when i search in viki

That's exactly what I have on my ATV1 with Gotham XBMC. Viki only show Pages... but no titles anywhere.
