Confirmed: replacing start.elf and fixup.dat fixed the audio sync issue on LiveTV. Channel switching is somewhat slower though, but still very usable. Keep up the good work, it's much appreciated!

Ok popcornmix what I did was download the short movie clip to my linux computer copy it to a usb drive and still was a no go with any openelec build so I pop raspbmc back in there and work like a charm so I google around found a post from a while back where someone removed the config.txt and I did the same put made my own like the one in raspbmc and boom both video play on all the 256mb and 512 mb Pi .so my question they must be something in the Openelec config, txt that does allow live ota strm to play even If each pi has right codec keys.Just sharing my finding again thanks . Ok got it now I had to remove the + from each line i add some to thanks popcornmix.

Good to see it finally works. I didn't experienced any serious issues. The only thing left to fix is aspect ratio problem. "Normal" aspect ratio still works incorrectly. I need to set 16:9 or 4:3 to get video displayed as should.
