I use Media Center Master to mange all my metadata, so is it possible to force XMBC to only use local metadata?

My install keeps downloading stuff.

XBMC by default will use local metadata. It will use scrapers when no local metadata is available. Does Media Center Master make XBMC compliant .nfo files?

Yes it does make the NFO files.

Are there any logs of when it goes online looking for data?

thanks

Did you examine some of the nfo files generated by MCM to be sure they are compliant with XBMC's requirements? Also, are these nfo files co-located with the movie files themselves? Finally, what are your selected settings on the "Set content" page for your movies folder in XBMC?
