Hey.

I edited skin XML files for private use, (align to right, big fonts and etc..)
but I'm afraid that at the moment the skin will have a new version, xbmc will auto update and my edited files will be gone...
so,
How can i ignore the screen (and only the screen, not all the add-ons) from auto-update?

Change the AddonID in the Addon.xml and your done...

I don't think it's currently possible to do that selectively. I would suggest disabling auto-update and then periodically checking for "Available Updates" and applying them selectively as desired.

On the other hand, I seem to recall reading a post that suggested changing the version number on your modified add-on (skin) to such a high number that any real version updates will always be less than your ficticious version number, so it'll never auto-update. Never tried it before, so I don't know if it really works.
