I have xbmcbuntu installed on a acer aspire one netbook. all my videos are on a windows 7 computer. I can access the files on the windows 7 computer from my xbmc if i have my ethernet cable plugged in, if i disconnect this and try and use wifi, i cannot connect although i still have internet access if i log in ubuntu. any one had any problems with this?

Any firewalls configured that could be blocking? Any restrictions set on the SMB shares on the Win 7 machine? A debug log may provide some additional clues.

In XBMC install the wifi manager addon use it.
