hi all,
i really like xbmc, the one thing that xbmc is missing the ability to brows through directories without having to add them. if xbmc would implement file browsing without the need of adding a source that would be awesome. just plug and play. i know it works fine with usb flash drives.
thanks.

Just add your C:\ drive as a source and you're done. Likewise if you have additional drives available on your system.

ya i know that's how i do it now but it would be very nice if you didn't have to do that at all. cause drive letters changes. just have xbmc automatically find the drives like in windows explorer.

XBMC is not really designed for that, its main focus is Libraries. If you're just going to browse through folders to play media, then what's the main reason to use XBMC in the first place?

So on Windows it's not possible to add one source that will always show all additional drives connected to the computer? It's been a while since I've had a Windows install, but I thought there was a way.
