I think I stumbled on a temp fix for a problem some may be having.
ATV2 OS Build 4.2.1 8c154 running Frodo RC2 as of today.
Since first installing frodo beta I began getting random crashes while watching video...would crash right back to frontrow
Would crash watching the same file at different times..while other times a video would play straight without incident.
Looking at the logs I always spotted tons of log entries for JSONRPC calls at the time of the crash.
Example:
JSONRPC: Calling audiolibrary.getalbums

I went into the skin widgets addon settings and turned all options off. All files now playing perfectly. Log shows no such activity at all. Obviously I have lost the functionality that skin widgets provided.
