I've run a number of Frodo betas and now RC2 - at some point in the later betas, XBMC stopped detecting the 'Year' associated with albums in my music library. Not sure why, it worked fine before. It's blank for every album, so I can't view the years or sort by years.

Any suggestions?

Seems like this is an issue with the upgrade between some of the betas...albums added since then parse the year correctly.
