I am running raspbmc and everything was great and functional right out of the box. I have a class 10 sd card to boot from and xbmc is installed on a usb3.0 stick. It is a bit sluggish but livable in regards to the menus. Slow if you use the xbmc keyboard via remote, but again usable. The deal breaker for me is when you have to download a list of movies or tv shows. Like if you click popular on some of the addons. It can take a couple minutes to appear where my ATV1 box is seconds. It does get faster if you load the list a second time but still painfully slow. Is this standard? Anything that can be done? Are the other builds better in this regard?

If I can't get it faster then I have to dump the Pi and consider it a fun experiment but not a successful device at this point.
