Anyone know what pre requisite (software) does XBMC need?

I might have uninstalled some packages and now web server no longer works.

I tried with version 11, and 12.

With other software like PLex I can get the web intereface to work, but not with XBMC.

Did you check the XBMC Network settings to verify you have the following enabled/defined?

• Allow control of XBMC via HTTP
  
• - Port
  
• - Username
  
• - Password
  
• Web interface
  
• Allow programs on other systems to control XBMC

Yes

But when I change the port, the program would lockup and don't show any menus.
It just shows the background wallpaper and nothing else.

I would need to force kill the program.
