Win Can no longer locate UPnP server device from client
#1
I've searched the forums (and Google) for 3 days, seems like this must be something simple, but I'm stymied....

Used XBMC for at least a couple years, Eden since release. Eden on Windows 7 Dell (64 bit) PC as server, Eden on Windows 7 Asus laptop as client.
Server and client are not always on, so would use UPnP to "add source" each time wanted to use client (connected to an HD TV).
All XBMC Settings>Network for both machines set to allow UPnP.
Usually connected with wireless (good signal), but can do wired; both firewalls accept XBMC; both machines show the full network with all devices ("my name PC" and "my name laptop").

In the past on client (and with server on) would go to Music>Add Source>Browse>UPnP devices, or Videos>Files>Add Videos>Browse>UPnP Devices, both devices would be listed, would choose "my name PC" and browse for correct locations. Had always worked well, but hadn't used XBMC for a couple months, tried connecting couple days ago, no luck.

The above paths now only show "my name laptop" (client) in UPnP Devices, can't get "my name PC" (server) to appear as UPnP device. Downloaded Frodo RC2 onto client today, no change (haven't tried it on server yet). Tried changing a few settings, reboots, change back settings, etc.

I would greatly appreciate any ideas/help, thanks.
