Hi

How do I attach a thumbnail/coverart to one of these filetypes:

• .strm
  
• .pls
  
• .m3u
  

They contain a streaming link for webradio!

Please - have to make my xbmc look polished and wife user friendly

DISCLAIMER: I don't think this is an official function (tested with 3 different skins) and it might not survive in the future, but it does work now; for .strm files. This might be out the window in future versions of XBMC.

A standard aspect poster cover jpeg image with the same name and .tbn extension will show up as the cover. I didn't try the other formats and .tbn Is supposed to be no longer supported (but there may be some legacy code that still operational for this).

I realize this is an old post, but this doesn't seem to work for me, and I wonder if anyone can provide inputs.

Just as a proof of concept, consider the following:

I have a pls file at:
http://api.tvthongminh.vn/xbmclinks/links/136.pls

and a jpeg that has been converted to btn at:
http://api.tvthongminh.vn/xbmclinks/links/136.btn

When I tell XBMC to play, it still shows the default icon.

Any inputs?
