I run xbmc on my Ipad 1, but it can play any files in my ipad. It just tell me " one or more items failed to play“。

The ios version is 5.1.1 and have jailbroken. Install xbmc from cydia. The xbmc version is frodo rc3

It looks like your file permissions are all messed up. See the iOS FAQ (wiki) for how to repair permissions. Just enable SSH on the iPad, but remember to turn it off when you're done since SSH will drain the battery faster on portable devices.
