Youtube XBMC Control for Firefox doesn't work after Youtube redisign.
#1
Hi!
After Youtube redesigned their webpage, the "Play in XBMC" icon I had from the Youtube XBMC Control (Firefox) is gone.
Is it only me, or has the redesign removed completely?
I cannot seem to find a newer version of the plugin either...

Any ideas?

Thanks.

No one else uses the Firefox Plugin?
Or have I posted in the wrong sub forum?
Is so, please tell me where to move my post.

Thanks.

I just tried to use it today and I find it doesn't work. Also, I can't reconfigure it to change the hostname, username or password of my XBMC box.

You are right that the icon is missing. However, autoplay seems to be working. You can re-configure the add-on if you go to: resource://jid1-h8uj3j5nfbkvhw-at-jetpack-youtube-firefox-data/options.html

I've heavily modified the original extension for my own use but, thought I would share. If I am not allowed to do so, a moderator should remove this post.

I reduced functionality to only the XBMC button being embedded on YouTube, (it should show next to the dislike button). I kept none of the other features that the add-on previously had as I do not use them. I added functionality for the share pop-up, (any YouTube video with a share icon located at the top right). I also added a drop down next to the XBMC button for settings but, only while on YouTube.

Hey, thanks a bunch for fixing the plugin - it works great on my Firefox 18.0.1 !

Are you guys using this on Frodo? Doesn't seem to work, also I can't find the button to send it to xbmc when a video is embedded.
