I was wondering if there is anyway I can remap the zbox remote to keyboard commands. I'm using xbmc with Windows 7-64bit. Most of the remote playback functions are fine but many of the other buttons (info, title, color buttons,...) are useless. I can use these for info, context menu, subtitle toggle,...etc. if i can map them to keystrokes like "C", "I", "T"

Not sure if there's a plugin for it, but have you tried Eventghost? That's what I use for all of my remote remappings and it works great.

I didn't want a constantly running service to fix this problem but I guess this is the only option. Is there any delay when using eventghost?

not for me on any of my 3 boxes (single-core Atom, dual-core Atom and A6-5400k). I believe I'm using an older version of the XBMC plugin for Eventghost because I had issues with the newer one, but I honestly haven't tried a new version recently as the old one works perfectly for me.
