Backup XBMC + Remote

I have 2 questions

The first one is how do i back up XBMC if i wanted to put on antoher raspberry pi instead of adding add-ons one by one again. Could copy all contents of the sdcard and paste onto new sdcard? Or would that not work. If not what is the best way

The second question, Is there any remotes that work straight off the bat with xbmc on raspberry pi?? atm im using my iphone but could do with a remote as i dare let the mrs near my iphone she would probably brick it somehow

Cheers guys

p.s im bet your sick of me already Tongue

I'm fond of RF remotes that show up to the device as a USB keyboard. That way they work on just about anything regardless of the platform/OS. For example, the Nyxboard remote is like this, and is considered to be plug-and-play ready for XBMC.

you can make a complete image of your SD card with the "Win32DiskImager" Smile
