today xbmc keeps crashing on startup or randomly watching movies. no recent changes to my setup at all.

I can do an update, although its a pain as I have to do it on my apple tv2 and raspberry pi too to keep my database in sync. Would there be a reason rc2 worked perfectly until tonight? I was hoping to stay on rc2 until the stable release but if rc3 fixes the problem I'll give it a go.
