Frodo RC3 suddenly(?) stopped working
#1
Hi.

Ive run XBMCbuntu for a while (a couple of years?). Im running version 11.10 of XBMCbuntu, but with the team-xbmc unstable ppa release.

The other day I upgraded, from Frodo RC2 to Frodo RC3. Everything (well, almost, once I figured out the PVR was a separate debian-package now) went well.

But suddenly, two days later, right after having watched an episode, XBMC crashed. It tried to restart itself a couple of times, before it gave up and I got the login prompt.

I tried rebooting the system, with no luck. I tried reinstalling RC3 (only the package, I have not reinstalled XBMCbuntu).

From the crash logs, this is what I guess triggers the problem:

20:16:42 T:3077773072 ERROR: GLX: Same window as before, refreshing context

Oh, sorry.

This post can be closed.

I finally found it out! It was the skin Aeon.Nox

Once I "moved" it out from .xbmc/addons/ , and tried another reboot, it worked.

I dont know why it crashed, but since the last lines in the Debug Log mentioned the skin, it tought it was worth a try.
