AVI files shows 0 bytes and does not play
#1
I have a problem I hope someone can help me with. Videos are hosted on a windows server running Universal Media Server (http://www.universalmediaserver.com) I have XMBC on windows & and AppleTV 2 as well as a PS3 as a client.

Everyting works fine on the PS3, but XBMC cannot play the AVI files. it is the same problem on both Win7 and ATV2. Other file types works fine.

When trying to play AVI files I get this:

13:04:18 T:20156 NOTICE: Thread Background Loader start, auto delete: false

The AVI files plays on the server and plays via a file share, so it appears to a streaming issue. Any suggestions?
