I have isntalled XMBCbutnu Frodo RC3 on a Zotac ID-41 (Atom + Nvidia ION 2) and lower bitrates play fine but Blu-ray rips to MKV only play 2-5 frames per second.
Any suggestions?

Thanks Uni, that sorted out most problems.
One additional note: I had a problem with slow playback on files with DTS-MA, it turmed out I had software decode of audio to stereo and the Atom CPU was maxing out one core. Changed audio output device and the last issues was sorted.
