I have a few MP3 files wrongly ripped at 80 kbps and they don't play with Frodo RC3. What are the limits of the Audio Engine?

I had no issue playing the file with Win 7 (WMP), Mac Os 10.8, Android and my LG TV.
I did a few more test and there is actually some sound out of XBMC but it is dashed (on/off).
