Hi,

Like a lot of people here I'm new to XBMC and need to buy some hardware to get it up and running.

I've looked through various setups that people have here but, as I live in Indonesia, quite a lot of the components aren't avaialble.

I'm not very hardware-savvy so was wondering if someone would be willing to help in choosing some decent hardware from this site:

which is one of the bigger suppliers in Indo. Like most places, they list things that they can't actually get so alternatives would also be welcome.

I'd be really grateful for some help.

I think my needs are quite basic. In terms of what I'm hoping to achieve:

- smooth 1080p
- bit of light gaming
- Remote via an Android tablet


All my films etc are held on an external USB3 hard drive. Happy to buy an internal one if this is necessary.


Any help would be much appreciated - it's very frustrating looking at the setups here and not being able to get the kit!
