hi all, ive tried searching but cannot see anything, is there an add on that i could grab to show my cpu temps and whatnot, from within xbmc?

SpeedFanInfo is available in the XBMC repo under programs. You can check out the wiki page in my signature for setup information. It's definitely worth a read, as you have to do some specific things in SpeedFan to get the logging working right. There's also a link at the bottom of the wiki page for the support thread.
BTW, it's Windows only, so if you're on OSX or a linux variant, this plugin won't help you.
