Music Video Add-ons?
#1
Are there any Music Video add-ons which actually work on XBMC 12 RC3?

I tried the 3 biggest ones and they all working not good.

VEVO: Searching on Muse, but get no single results back (And this should be the biggest music database from the world)
Yahoo: Can search on video, see all searched videos (and alot! More then Vevo), but doesnt play them. "01:49:19 T:2996 ERROR: Closing connection: NetStream.Play.StreamNotFound". Tried alot of video, they dont work.
MTV: Script.failed!: Plugin.video.mtv.

I prefer Yahoo Music Video, but i cant get it working (I can play music videos on Yahoo Music Video/Vevo homepage). Anyone here which got it working on XBMC 12 RC3?

Or an good alternative?

Yes, no scrapers.

I have some music dvd's (ISO or unpacked), but those arent recognized by Last.fm or AudioDB (cannot connect to the remote server).

Thats why i wanted to use Yahoo Music Video's instead, but it seems its a pretty old plugin made by Bluecop.

So i was curious if somebody got VeVo or Yahoo Music Video addon working with Frodo RC3? If those arent working anymore, what can i do instead? What can i do with the Music DVDs which i own? Those arent get scraped by Last.FM and AudioDB.

Sorry it's been a while since this post, chiming in in case anyone else stumbles on this...

Here's what I've used to set up music videos in XBMC (assuming you're running windows). http://popatopdad.codeplex.com/. It does an okay job at this, but you do it yourself rather than search against a database. I've tried myself scrAping against theaudiodb, but find about 50% of my 53 vids aren't recognized.

Then ADD them to theaudiodb!!! Big Grin

It takes 30 seconds to add a youtube link to a track and it helps everyone.

your post is not clear as to what do you really want to do here ?
1- Do you need your local music videos to be picked up by xbmc ? i.e a scraping issue
2- or you just need to browse & view Music videos
for 1- try this @ post #15 this scraper works -----
http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid...#pid995041
for 2- try muzu.tv addon, it helps if you register with muzu.tv and get your own API key from the site and add that to the addon settings in xbmc .. you get a very structured & organised music video addon.. otherwise vevo works well for me
