Pardon my naivety, but I'm using XBMC 12 RC 3, and am experiencing the bug described here;

It is described as fixed, so would I need to recompile the GIT version of the program with the corrected code to see the change? I'm a bit confused, since the bug is labeled as fixed 4 weeks ago, yet RC 3 (which I'm using) was released 10 days ago. Amazing program by the way, but this is really hurting my "comfy couch" experience, so I'd appreciate any help. Thanks in advance.
