Well I sold my first HTPC, using my current one and now I'm building one for a friend. He is mainly looking for a "simple" easy to use build that will playback 1080p, wifi for internet, burn BR discs and have room to add more HDD's in the future. This is what I've come up with so far, trying to keep the price down as much as I can. I've never used the Silverstone cases but figured it was worth a shot.
Case: SilverStone
MoBo: Gigabyte HDMI
CPU: Intel i3-3220
PSU: Coolmax 300W
SSD: Either a Samsung or Crucial 64GB SSD(not sure yet)
HDD: Seagate 2TB 7200RPM
RAM: Kingston HyperX 8GB
WiFi: Asus Adapter
Remote: Windows 7 Remote
This system will be running Windows 7 and XBMC 12 Frodo.
